Data Collection & Storage

TextStow is a 100% locally-run application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data:

• Clipboard history (text, images, files) is stored entirely in a local SQLite database
• Bookmark content is stored locally with no network transfer
• The app never sends your content to any server during operation
• All core features work fully offline

Data Security

Your data security is in your own hands:

• All data is stored securely on your Mac locally
• You can view, export, or delete all data at any time
• You can ignore specific apps (e.g., password managers) to protect sensitive information
• You can enable "ignore sensitive content" to automatically skip potential sensitive data

Data Export & Deletion

You can export bookmark data anytime through the "Backup" feature in TextStow settings. To delete all data, simply uninstall TextStow — all data is stored within the app sandbox and will be deleted along with the app.
